  Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas announced the summer holidays in Punjab. Today, On June 29, 2021, Punjab Education Minster Murad Raas Announced that the summer holidays in Punjab shall start on 1st July 2021 and will end on 1st August 2021. Schools in Punjab shall remain closed from 1st July 2021 to 1st August 2021. Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas request to all children and their families to follow SOPs issued by the government of Pakistan in this pandemic. Before this National Command and operating center (NCOC) suggested the summer vacations from July 18 to 1st August 2021. Also, Federal Education Minister Suggested summer vacations from July 02 to 2nd August 2021.   Today the meeting of Provisional Education Ministers was held under Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood. Provisional Education Ministers also participated in the meeting.  This meeting was held to make a decision regarding matric and inter exams 2021. In the inter provisional education ministers today, it is decided that matric and inter exams will be conducted after July 10 instead of June 26. Exams will be conducted in two phases. In the 1st phase exams of 10 and 12 classes will be conducted after July 10. In the 2nd phase exams of 9 and 11 classes will be conducted. It is also decided in the meeting that there will be exams of elective subjects only.
