As the number of coronavirus cases is increasing day by day in the third wave of coronavirus and children are also being affected by this virus, the Education Minister of Punjab Murad Raas announced to close all private and government schools in districts of Okara, Jhang, Khanewal & Bhakkar.
All Public and Private Schools in the following Districts are closed with immediate effect due to the rise in COVID 19 cases. These Districts are in addition to the Districts announced on April 6th, 2021 which are Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Multan, Bhawalpur, Sialkot, Sargodha, Faisalabad, TT Singh, RYK, DG Khan, and Sheikupura.
In all other Districts, Educational institutions will remain open as per schedule under SOPs.

During the summer vacations, Punjab School Teachers Will Undergo Extensive Training - Ilmi Updates

  The Punjab government has planned a 45-day teacher training program in all of the province's districts. The training will begin on Monday, May 30th, and end on Thursday, June 14th. The training will be conducted by the Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED), the Punjab government's main institution for in-service and pre-service teacher training. During the summer vacations, Punjab School Teachers Will Undergo Extensive Training DG QAED asked Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of all District Education Authorities (DEAs) and District QAED Heads to ensure that all school instructors in their respective districts participate, according to an official announcement. Govt. Decided To Reopen Schools From 16 September

   کا 16  ستمبر سے سکولز 50 فیصد حاضری کے ساتھ کھولنے کا فیصلہ   NCOC این سی او سی کے چیئرمین نے اعلان کیا کہ این سی او سی نے اس سے قبل ملک بھر کے 24 اضلاع پر سخت پابندیاں عائد کی  تھیں۔ ان میں سے صرف چھ اضلاع میں سخت پابندیاں عائد کی جائیں گی جبکہ باقی کو نرمی کی اجازت دی گئی ہے۔  ان 6 اضلاع میں لاہور ، فیصل آباد، ملتان ، سرگودھا ، گجرات اور بنوں شامل ہیں ان میں سکول 22 ستمبر تک بند رہیں گے۔ وزیر نے کہا کہ ان 6 اضلاع میں بھی حکومت نے کچھ پابندیاں ختم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ "پہلے ان اضلاع میں نقل و حمل پر      مکمل طور پر پابندی عائد تھی۔ اب بسیں ان 6  اضلاع 50   فیصد گنجائش کے ساتھ نقل حمل کر سکتی ہیں۔ جبکہ باقی کے 16 اضلاع میں سکولز 16  ستمبر سے 50  فیصد حاضری ک ساتھ کھلیں گے۔
